Jonathans’ Hotel & Restaurant has been described as one of the most unusual hotels in the UK, with a maze of luxuriously appointed rooms, corridors, archways and casements filled with antiques, curios and collections. Jonathans’ has also earned a reputation for its dedication to presenting the very best of British cuisine.
No stranger to offering its visitors specially themed events, Jonathans’ is now making a completely new ‘break with tradition’ by hosting Learn to Cook weekends, during which time guests will learn all aspects of preparing the perfect meal, from starter to pudding and all the way through to the right choice of liqueurs and wines.
Learn to Cook Weekends
The package includes two nights’ dinner, bed & breakfast, chef’s working lunches, all ingredients, equipment and tuition in the kitchen under the expert gaze of Executive Head Chef Nick Wheeler and his team of cooks.
This is for a maximum of 12 pax, with approx 8-9 hours of cooking time

Victorian Weekends
Take a journey back in time, wear traditional Victorian costume (optional), sample the best of British fayre, at the fascinating Jonathans’ Hotel & Restaurant.
The weekend break includes two nights’ accommodation with full English breakfast, dinner in the Victorian restaurant, dining from the a la carte menu, Victorian costume hire and fitting at Masquerade for the Saturday evening dinner, and a day pass to the Black Country Living Museum.
